The drivers in these speakers guarantee excellent sound. The long-throw 130 mm woofer is equipped with a phase plug, which ensures that bass frequencies remain very linear. The 80 mm mid-range cone driver faithfully reproduces the mid frequencies between 400 and 3000 Hz, and the extremely light-weight 25 mm fabric dome tweeter provides highs that are both finely detailed and punchy.

These elegant column speakers are made of solid 2 mm aluminium and the tinted glass base plate is fitted with metal spikes to hold each speaker firmly in place. The solid connector terminals are compatible with speaker cables of up to 4 mm in diameter and are recessed into the bases of each column speaker, thus hiding them from view.

The baffles on the slightly rounded sides of the speaker contribute to the special acoustic properties of the L 520 FR. The smooth transition between the front and the sides of the cabinet prevent negative acoustic effects that would otherwise result from hard edges.

Centre Speaker L 520 C

This is the only horizontal speaker in the LT 5 ensemble and it can be placed on a shelf or below a TV. The centre speaker harmonises perfectly with the two identically equipped front speakers to produce a well-balanced and thus realistic listening experience.

Our development team was careful to ensure that all frequency ranges are evenly represented in these speakers. Thus the dome tweeter and mid-range cone driver are also situated above each other on the horizontal centre channel speaker.

This speaker includes a special metal-glass stand permanently fastened to the rear of this cabinet so that it is always held firmly in place.

Subwoofer L 5200 SW

The sub-bass of the LT 5 system is provided by a subwoofer whose new and remakably thin Teufel design conceals the brute force of its bass delivery.

Hidden behind the front aluminium panels lies a powerful 300 mm woofer capable of filling a 50 m2 space with home cinema quality sound. The woofer is aided by a DPU reflex system especially developed by Teufel to prevent air flow noise from causing bass distortion.
The amply dimensioned amplifier supplies up to 300 W RMS power and 500 W music power. The red glowing Teufel logo indicates when the unit is on, and the LEDs display the current phase (0 or 180 degrees) and filter settings (independent mode or LFE via AV receiver). You can set these parameters using a remote control.
